“Lakhey” is the most recent release from indie rock band Sundara Karma and is off their debut album “Youth Is Only Ever Fun In Retrospective”. This track is a quirky indie rock song that will go down well with any indie fan and is today’s track of the day.
Wolf Alice were one of my bands to watch when they fast came on the seen last year, and although I wasn’t too keen on their first release of 2017 (“Yuk Foo”), I much prefer their second single “Don’t Delete The Kisses” which is today’s Track of the Day.
The Strange Bones take on the Avelino, Stormy and Skepta collaboration “Energy”, is today’s Track of the Day. As the song title suggests, this track is full of energy and this version is a mix of two upbeat genres; punk rock and grime. A well produced track that even rivals the original.
“Are You Looking For Action” by Kasabian is the Track of the Day today and although it’s over 8 minutes long, it’s still a killer track. The music video for this song was shot in one take and broadcast live in association with LadBible. It’s such an amazing video and it’s a marvel that everything went so well for a live performance!
Considering I hear this song at least 10 times a day through Spotify adverts alone (I’m too tight to pay for premium), it’s a wonder how I haven’t got sick of this track yet. The Killers latest single “The Man” is a catchy alt-rock track and is today’s track of the day.
Run is the latest single by Foo Fighters and was a surprise release yesterday with no prior announcements. The music video was directed by Dave Ghrol himself and, typical to true Foo Fighters style, is over the top and involves the band dressed up. A good rock track that is sure to make your afternoon.
I’ve been a massive VANT fanboy since I first heard Parking Lot from the Jack Daniels advert a while back and they still amaze me. After seeing them at Glastonbury this year, VANT are probably one of my favourite bands and they haven’t even released an album yet! PEACE & LOVE is VANT’s latest single and was released today. I believe it’s a commentary on the recent terror attacks across the world and specifically, the Paris attacks. It’s a great single with heartfelt lyrics and well worth a listen.
