I had honestly never heard of Phoenix until this week, which is pretty impressive given the fact they have over 4.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, but I’m glad I found them. I can’t seem to get enough of their indie-pop-electronica fusion. “J-Boy”, from their recently released album “Ti Amo”, is today’s track of the day.
I’ve waited 3 years for Royal Blood to make a second album and thankfully there isn’t too much longer to wait since it’s due at the end of the week! This is their most recent single called “I Only Lie When I Love You”, which is a good, upbeat, rocky track.
Blink-182 recently released their first single for their upcoming album California, which is due for release on July 1st. Currently the single Bored to Death only has a lyric video and not a full music video, but lyric videos can still be well made and an interesting watch.
It’s been five years since Blink-182’s “comeback” album Neighbourhoods that was released in 2011, and although they did release a 5 song EP back in 2012, it’s about time they made another album. I’ve been a Blink-182 fan since Enema of the State and can’t wait for California.
In the Age of the Consecrated Vampire We All Get High or simply Get High, is the latest single to be released ahead of Rob Zombies upcoming album “The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser” which is due to be released on April 29th. (Yet another album to add to the ever growing “To Review” list).
Typical to Rob Zombie style, he makes the music that he wants to make, in other words, he doesn’t go for what sells. But this works. True Zombie fans like him for him. Get High isn’t too out there compared to the other single release Well, Everybody’s F**king In A UFO, but the full title is quite a mouthful…
